After obtaining her law degree at the Universidad de Zaragoza in 1986, and conducting an internship on legal business and civil advice in Despacho Burgos Delgado Abogados, she moved to Madrid, where she obtained in 1988 a Master’s degree in Legal Consultancy to Businesses by the IE Business School. She then started working for the IE Business School, where she held several positions in the management and planning of postgraduate programmes. She combined those with a Master’s degree in Tax Advice Management. Then, in 1992, she took on the Program of Instruction for Lawyers managed by the Harvard Law School University in combination with the IE Law School Madrid. At the same time she began her teaching career as an MBA professor in the tax area at this business school.
At the onset of 1993 she was hired by Bankinter’s Legal and Tax Department, providing internal legal advice to the firm as well as to its commercial network, managing the tax and tax litigation areas
